Walking…us this time!
We have taken up a little pass time. We have started walking, all of us together. Well, Tabitha is in her pushchair but you get the idea. It’s a way that we all spend time together. We’ve gone out quite a few times recently, and once we even got soaked. The weather was fine when we left home, after 30 mins it pelted down and was blowing a gale. Then it cheered up again about 20 mins before we got home. The most annoying thing is that we have to use the pushchair. Tabitha is a long way from being able to walk far yet, and we invested in a child back-carrier for Ellie when she was little, but we can’t use it for Tabitha because there is no way of carrying the oxygen. This means that despite living in a lovely rural area, surrounded by public footpaths, we can’t use them and we are tied to using the roads. It is a shame.

A mystery
A little while ago, we found eggs in and around the house. Not eating eggs, but some kind of small birds eggs. We have cats, so it isn’t all that surprising that they bring things home from time to time, but it was about 6 weeks ago and we found 3 in total.
I’ve just found another one outside our back door. I wish we knew where they were from.

Nice while it lasted
Tabitha has started vomiting again this morning. On the plus side, for the first time ever, we got through 22 days without it taking over. Now we will just have to see how long it lasts for.

Shhhhh…..
….don’t tell Tabitha but it’s been 21 days since she last had a bout of vomiting. She’s never gone more than 18 days before. We are enjoying the time, even if we are just waiting for it all to start again.

Waiting….
We are still waiting for our appointment at GOSH. I know it won’t come through overnight, but I really want to know when it will be. Bristol were so negative about Tabitha’s condition, I really need to speak to people who might actually know something to put my mind at rest.
We are waiting for Tabs to be sick again at the minute. It looked like she was heading that way on Friday, but so far, the full blown sickness hasn’t arrived.
Ellie still seems to be getting on well at school. We have parents evening next week, then we’ll find out how she is doing from the Teacher’s point of view. I am in contact with another parent who is thinking of removing their child from the same school we moved Ellie from. Seeing how bubbly she has become since moving schools, I know we made the right choice.
